4. Peer Observation of Teaching

Invite colleagues to observe you and to give you feedback on your teaching - also ask whether you can observe their teaching (some institutions have peer observation programs in place so check out if this is an option). Again, teaching is extremely personal but some aspects will improve through reflection on what you observe in other classrooms. Questions to be asked by peers before teaching: What are you aiming at in this course, in this class? What obstacles and challenges will you face? 

Is there anything you want me to pay attention to? After: What did you think worked well and not so well? I noticed you did such and such -- what made you decide to do that?
